Hello r/askdfw! I just had a quick question as I am moving to Dallas in July to start a post-grad job.

Now before I begin, I do know that this is Texas, and the laws about weed are pretty strict. However, I do know that in Dallas and Dallas Country weed is decriminalized (?) and the current DA said he isn’t prosecuting first time offenses. However, I just wanted to get some perspective on how 420 friendly the city is and how screwed I might be. Would I be safe in my own apartment taking the proper precautions or is this an all bets are off type of deal? I am a black male btw if that matters
